About Us

Caleb has been visiting Amish communities with his family since childhood. The rural beauty and tight-knit community felt similar to his own home. His parents began bringing furniture back to Central Alabama from their visits and have been selling these pieces for over 15 years. Caleb followed their example in 2022 when he started High Ridge Home, named after the unincorporated community where he grew up. His wife, Elizabeth, has been an essential part of the business every step of the way. Rosie the Doodle also helps by sitting on Caleb’s feet when he is writing to order the next batch of furniture.

We established High Ridge Home to bridge the gap between secluded Amish workshops and customers who appreciate their craft. We select pieces that encourage people to gather together because we believe the best part of being outdoors is sharing it with others. It is a privilege to offer these Amish products that have meant so much for our family to yours.
